Every man needs Range.

You are responsible for more than one thing. Range means being capable across all of it — not just the part you're already good at.

Founded by a veteran of the 75th Ranger Regiment.

What this is

Strong in one lane. Absent in five.

A good body and no savings. A sharp mind and a cold marriage. Range means you don't get to pick which one you're good at.

I spent five years in the 75th Ranger Regiment and thirteen years in the special operations community. I'm married with two young kids. I don't drink — not because I had to quit, but because I looked at it honestly and decided it wasn't adding anything. I'm working on my faith.

I'm also further from the standard than I want to admit right now. So this isn't a finished man handing down advice. It's the standard I'm holding myself to, written down, and an honest attempt to find other men doing the same thing.

The Regiment taught me that a standard only means something if somebody refuses to let you fall below it. Most men never get handed one, and almost nobody gets held to it once they're grown. That's the gap this is aimed at.

Start here

Feeling lost doesn't mean you're broken.

Maybe you typed something into a search bar tonight you'd never say out loud. Feeling lost as a man. Failing as a father. How to get my life back on track. If that's you — searching it was the first honest move. Don't waste it.

Feeling lost usually isn't a character defect. It's what happens when a man carries real responsibility with no standard to measure against and no other men to hold him to one. You drift, because nothing is telling you where you actually stand.

So here's where you stand, tonight, in four minutes: open the Range Card and score yourself across the eight pillars, one to five, honestly. Nobody sees it but you. The lowest number on that page is not proof you're failing — it's the answer to "where do I start." Pick one action for that pillar this week. Small enough that you'll actually do it.

Then, if you want men in it with you, reach out below. The will to get better is the only entry requirement.

The Eight

Competence across all of it. Not mastery of one.

These are the domains a man is responsible for. Touch a segment of the wheel — the goal is that none of them is the one you avoid.

Straight answers

Questions men ask before they reach out.

What does it mean to have Range?

Range means being capable across every domain you're responsible for, not just the one you're already good at. Most men are strong in one lane and absent in five. Range means you don't get to pick.

What are the eight pillars?

Faith, Family, Fitness, Medical, Finance, Intelligence, Discipline, and Lethality. The goal is competence across all eight, not mastery of one.

Who is this for?

Men who want to take being a father, a husband, and a man seriously, and who are willing to be held to a standard. If you've been feeling scattered, stuck, or like you're falling short of who you're supposed to be, that's the starting point — not a disqualifier.

Do I have to be a veteran?

No. Men of Range was founded by a 75th Ranger Regiment veteran, but it's built for any man who wants to become capable across every area he's responsible for. The background is where the standard came from, not who it's for.

Is this a religious group?

Faith is one of the eight pillars and it matters here. I'm working on my own faith and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But you don't have to have it figured out to be part of this.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There's no membership, no program, and nothing for sale. This is early and I'm looking for men, not customers.

Find the men already doing this.

There's nothing to sell you and no membership to join. Right now I'm looking for men who read the above and recognize themselves in it.

Do the check first — it takes thirty seconds and it tells us both something. Then tell me where you're at. I read every one of these myself.

Step 1 of 2 — The check. Answer these first.

Answer all four — and your strongest and weakest can't be the same pillar.
